The Trend of Recalling Democratic Governors - It's NJ Gov. Murphy's Turn

Last month, we published a post on the Recall Gavin Newsom petition. The petition, which has until March 17th of this year to meet its threshold, seeks to initiate a recall election to have the California governor removed from his post.

The recall trend in blue states seems to be continuing as it has now hit New Jersey.

The Recall Governor Murphy petition started in 2019 and is the second attempt to garner the 1.7 million signatures needed in order to initiate a special election this coming April.

According to New Jersey's Shore News Network, the first attempt last year missed its mark by several hundred thousand signatures due to "red tape", but this time the petition is able to be signed electronically due to the pandemic and can be circulated more easily to the masses. It's being promoted via social media, texts, email, and by other electronic mediums.

Just like the California petition, you must be a resident of the state, New Jersey, in order to sign the petition and the signature quota must be met by January 27th - less than 3 weeks away!

In case you missed it above, here's the link to the petition's website.

If you're a NJ resident fed up with Governor Phil Murphy's tyranny and hypocrisy, then be sure to sign it!

If you're not a resident but know people in NJ, be sure to make them aware of the effort!

Christmas just might come several months early for NJ residents.
