Amy Klobuchar Says Trump’s Political Future “Is Done,” but We Know It's Not

Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota told Fox News Sunday that Donald Trump’s political career “is done” despite his acquittal in the Senate on Saturday. Democrats have acknowledged that their impeachment push was due in part to the desire to disqualify him from running in the future, but we all know that will not stop the charismatic former president.

Many Republicans argue that Trump and his legacy remain an integral part of the Republican Party’s future. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) confirmed that stance telling Fox News, I spoke to [Trump] last night. He's ready to move on and rebuild the Republican Party. He's excited about 2022."

The senator, a key Trump ally, continued, "He's mad at some folks, but I understand that. My goal is to win in 2022 to stop the most radical agenda I've seen coming out of the Democratic presidency of Joe Biden. We can't do that without Donald Trump, so he's ready to hit the trail, and I'm ready to work with him."

Despite Trump’s second acquittal, Democrats are not giving up in their useless and frivolous fight to bar the former president from ever running for office again. Just when you thought that Congress would move on and tackle things that are actual issues and worth the taxpayer money that pays their salaries and pensions, swamp rats like Chuck Schumer confirmed, "We're first going to finish the impeachment trial and then Democrats will get together and discuss where we go next."

Democrat senators have discussed invoking the 14th Amendment of the Constitution which states that the person in question shall not be permitted to hold office if they “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the U.S. “or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” That is, if two-thirds of the House and Senate vote to allow it.

Accusing Trump of inciting insurrection or rebellion, we know is as much a hoax as the Russian collusion charade was. The Capitol siege was planned weeks in advance of the president’s speech that Democrats say prompted the violence. We also know that Trump, during his Stop the Steal rally speech, DID NOT ONCE call for any sort of violence, rather he stated, "I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."

Amy and her Democratic colleagues are only mad because Trump, a DC outsider, exposed the corruption that lies at the core of our government. They believe it’s only in their best interest that they attempt to stop Trump from ever running for office again, even if it is at the expense of DC outsiders like you and me.

Trump not only exposed the FISA Court abuse paid for by Hillary Clinton and the “insurance policy” introduced by members of our very own FBI, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, to take him out if elected, but he exposed that the top of the chain of command knew about the corruption and was even involved to some extent, including Joseph Robinette Biden and Barack Hussein Obama.

Trump filled federal courts with conservatives, including the Supreme Court, and destroyed every hope of success by the progressive left to advance their policies during his time in office and for years to come. So it’s only natural that they’ll do everything they can to destroy the man that exposed their hate and disdain for America, our laws and our Constitution, and even if they do somehow succeed in barring him from holding public office again, he will not stop running with what he started, and a majority of Republicans are there to carry the torch if need be.
