BLM Co-Founder Goes on Multi-Million-Dollar Estate Buying Binge

During a wave of protests across the country, nothing says that black lives matter more than a BLM Marxist organization’s co-founder going on a multi-million-dollar estate buying binge. And that’s exactly what one of them did.

The outspoken and self-proclaimed Marxist sympathizer co-founder of Black Lives Matter, Patrisse Khan-Cullors, recently went on a buying spree snatching up four high-end homes for $3.2 million in the US alone, according to an article in the New York Post.

Kahn-Cullors also sought out a property in the Bahamas at the ultra-exclusive luxury beachfront Albany resort that boasts residents such a Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake. The luxury apartments and townhomes go for anywhere between $5 million to $20 million.

She also snagged a $1.4 million home in Los Angeles. The Post reported that “The 2,370-square-foot property features ‘soaring ceilings, skylights and plenty of windows’ with canyon views. The Topanga Canyon homestead, which includes two houses on a quarter-acre, is just one of three homes Khan-Cullors owns in the Los Angeles area, public records show.”

Some of the organization’s leaders were disgusted by the recently surfaced revelations. The leader of the Greater New York City chapter of BLM, Hawk Newsome, called for an “independent investigation” into how the organization spends its money.

Newsome said, “If you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have to ask how much of her own personal money is going to charitable causes. It’s really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it’s the people that carry this movement.”

Don’t act surprised, Newsome, it’s relatively common among Marxists to speak one way but act another. Nearly a year ago revelations came out about the properties of Bernie Sanders. You’d think that an outspoken socialist like Sanders who says he fights for the people and hadn’t held a job in his life before entering politics wouldn’t own the properties he does, but boy are you wrong.

Last summer, Patriot America reported on a BlazeTV investigation that found a very small fraction of the donations made to BLM even reached local chapters. Financial records showed that millions of dollars were going toward salaries and travel expenses while only a few hundred thousand dollars were being dispersed across the many local chapters. The Blaze already did the work for you, Newsome, but I bet you can’t wait to see the latest filings!

Although the nonprofit BLM organization is incorporated, Kahn-Cullors setup a very closely named BLM Global Network. The for-profit BLM Global Network is not obligatory to divulge how much it spends or compensates its executives. That’s bad news for those who want transparency.

Newsome said, “We need black firms and black accountants to go in there and find out where the money is going.” He said he has not received any financial assistance from the BLM Global Network.

Any BLMers seeing the hypocrisy from those at the top of the organization yet?
