The Left’s New Strategy to Monitor Supporters – The Trump Accountability Project

On October 31st, I posted an article on my Patriot America USA website detailing my research into the Transition Integrity Project (TIP). The project boasted itself as “bipartisan,” but was very telling in terms of whose side they were on – and it was not Trump’s. Now we have yet another leftist “project” that recently popped up to report on, but this report won’t be nearly as long as the TIP’s. My goal here is to touch upon these leftist schemes as they appear to expose them and make you aware of them, so you’re not surprised if they come to fruition.

Although the website for this particular project, the Trump Accountability Project (TAP), states that “in the spirit of the President-elect's call to build a more united country, this project will no longer be active,” the mentality on the left to monitor conservatives is still very much alive.

The only other statement currently available on the homepage of the TAP’s website says:

“The Trump Accountability Project was started because we believe restoring democratic norms are vital to protecting America's future. A critical part of making sure the nation never finds itself in this position again is to make sure those members of the Trump administration responsible for loosening the guardrails of our democracy are not rewarded with book deals, TV contracts, or six-figure salaries in the private sector based on that experience. Ultimately, however, the goal of the project was to play a part in restoring the soul of the nation, and we'll follow President-elect Biden's lead to get us there.”

When did this recent Big Brother sort of tracking of what Trump supporters are doing and what they will be doing begin? Well, it started with none other than Marxist-sympathizer Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and a November 6th Tweet that made headlines but came as no surprise to many. For those who did not hear about the tweet, she posted: “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future.“

The TAP gained recognition after former Democratic National Committee press secretary and ex-deputy campaign manager for former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, Hari Sevugan, Tweeted about its existence.

Before the website received pushback ultimately forcing it’s changes, the TAP’s site linked to a list of over 4,000 names. Those names are and were individuals on the White House staff, members of the president’s cabinet, and his various governmental appointees. The project’s mission statement read, while it was still on the website:

“We should welcome in our fellow Americans with whom we differ politically.
But those who took a paycheck from the Trump Administration should not profit from their efforts to tear our democracy apart. The world should never forget those who, when faced with a decision, chose to put their money, their time, and their reputations behind separating children from their families, encouraging racism and anti-Semitism, and negligently causing the unnecessary loss of life and economic devastation from our country’s failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coming together starts with acknowledging the truth: these individuals have shattered laws and norms that hurt our democracy, including right now, as they use the levers of government — DOJ, GSA and state officials — to subvert the fundamental underlying tenet that makes America what it is: The peaceful transfer of power from the loser of an election to the winner.”

A surprising name of one of those who criticized the mission of the TAP was CNN anchor Jake Tapper. Mounting pushback from individuals on all sides of the political spectrum ultimately led Sevugan to distance himself from the project, but still maintain his defense of the project’s goals.

The Democratic Party, the self-appointed party of the acceptance of all has done a wonderful job in continuously exposing itself as the party that engages in exactly the opposite of what it preaches. Let’s see what other “projects” the left launches against conservatives – we all know that as long as we’re still alive and fighting for our Constitutional rights as Americans, far-leftists like AOC won’t be able to launch theirs.
